October 7th – Costume

Posted: October 10, 2010 in Uncategorized

Exciting day today.  Georgina Raffle (our costume maker) arrived at the rehearsal studio with the costumes for the first fitting.

There have been a string of really strange coinsidences around this show – today we discovered that Opera North is rehearsing The Gypsy Bible in the studio downstairs.  It’s like the north has invaded the People Show!  The Gypsy Bible is the next show into the LBT after The Last Cuckoo closes – wheird or what!  And, I absolutely recommend it – the music coming out of their rehearsal studio sounds amazing – great fun.

October 5th – Scene Five

Day 2 and we’re getting to grips with Scene Five and an invasion of personal space. Where will this lead I wonder?

There’s more pictures from the rehearsal room on our Rehearsal page.

October 4th – Rehearsals begin

Posted: October 4, 2010 in Uncategorized

Rehearsals for The Last Cuckoo began today with a Tube strike in London!  But at least the sun is shining.  It’s been a mad scramble to find an alternative space that we can all get to.  Thanks to Drama Studio London for giving us a home for the day.
